Meet the Team

Dr. Tedders is a distinguished graduate of the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry, earning his degree in 1999. His commitment to excellence led him to pursue additional training at the University of Michigan and Veterans Administration Hospitals general practice residency.
Throughout his career, Dr. Tedders has dedicated himself to the specialty of comprehensive dental implantology. In 2015, he attained Diplomate status with the prestigious American Board of Oral Implantology, a testament to his mastery of implant dentistry. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, he achieved Fellow status with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2017, further solidifying his standing as a leader in the field.

With a wealth of experience spanning decades, Dr. Tedders has performed over 15,000 dental implant reconstructions. His expertise extends beyond implant placement, as he specializes in foundational reconstructive grafting procedures, sinus augmentation, ridge reconstruction, and soft tissue engineering.

Dr. Tedders is not only a highly accomplished practitioner but also a dedicated lifelong learner and educator in the field of dental implantology. He has shared his wealth of knowledge and expertise by lecturing and mentoring on all aspects of surgical and restorative dental implantology to general dentists and specialists across the United States.

In recognition of his commitment to education and mentorship, Dr. Tedders serves as a surgical director for the master's program in dental implantology at Jacksonville University. In this role, he selflessly mentors residents in all aspects of hands-on surgical and restorative dental implantology, imparting his extensive experience and expertise to the next generation of dental professionals. Dr. Tedders also plays a role in shaping the future of the dental implantology field as a board examiner for both the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI).

Dr. Tedders brings the same dedication to his role of devoted father to his three amazing children: Chelsea, Nick, and Louis. When he isn't investing his time and expertise into his patients and practice, he cherishes every moment spent with his children. Their shared love for the outdoors and adventure is evident in their favorite activities, which include fishing, boating, and wakeboarding. Dr. Tedders takes pride in teaching and sharing these activities with his children, with Louis being the most recent to learn wakeboarding in the Intracoastal Waterway.
Beyond their shared outdoor pursuits, Dr. Tedders and his children embrace a "country" lifestyle, finding joy in simple pleasures such as gardening, raising chickens, peacocks, and even nurturing a flock of 100 pheasants at one time.

Dr. Natalie McDowell is a vibrant part of the dental community, and is known by her patients for her personable demeanor and gentle approach. With a knack for explaining dentistry clearly, she leaves patients feeling empowered and at ease in her care.

Dr. McDowell is originally from New Jersey and came to Florida to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton. She then completed a General Practice Residency at the VA hospital in Gainesville to advance her skills in various aspects of dentistry, notably dental rehabilitation with implants.

Since her training, Dr. McDowell has been dedicated to advancing her practice through continuous education and staying current on research and emerging dental techniques for her patients. In 2022, she began an intensive three-year implant training program through Jacksonville University to complete a Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Comprehensive Oral Implantology. Under the mentorship of Dr. Pierre Tedders she has been refining her clinical expertise, drawing inspiration from his seasoned proficiency in the field.

Together, Dr. Tedders and Dr. McDowell share common values of providing their patients with a healthy and confident smile through compassion, empathy, and the highest quality of dental care.
